Juan José Hernández Rey is a Research Professor at CSIC and Director of the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC), a joint center of CSIC and the Universitat de València. An experimental particle and astroparticle physicist, he has worked on major international accelerator experiments at CERN and Fermilab. His research has explored charm physics, the electroweak Z boson, and searches for new particles. Over the last decade, he has focused on high-energy cosmic neutrinos within the ANTARES and KM3NeT collaborations. He is also involved in indirect dark matter searches and is a member of the Particle Data Group.
