Antoine Kouchner is a professor who obtained his PhD from Université Paris Diderot in 2001. After a postdoctoral position at Fermilab in Chicago, he joined the Astroparticle and Cosmology Laboratory (UMR Université Paris Cité, CNRS, CEA, Observatoire de Paris, CNES), of which he is currently the director. He is the spokesperson (principal investigator) of the international ANTARES collaboration, which operates data from the first neutrino telescope in the Mediterranean Sea, and Vice-Chair of the General Assembly of the European Astroparticle Physics Consortium (APPeC).
